M. Donato & Company has represented buyers, sellers and renters since 2009 — from two convenient offices on Staten Island and in Cranford, New Jersey, licensed in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania, and drawing on more than thirty years of combined experience in this business.
Who we are
Independent by choice, local by conviction
We are independently owned, and we intend to stay that way. A large franchise office can put more names on a sign; it cannot give you an agent who knows your street, answers their own phone, and has the broker two desks away when something complicated comes up.
Our owner, Matthew Donato Cappabianca, has been buying and selling real estate since the age of eighteen, and has passed that experience on to every agent who has come under the wing of M. Donato & Company. The office works as a support center for its agents rather than a sales floor — marketing help, one-to-one mentoring, team orientation, and an expectation of patience, respect and professionalism.
We describe ourselves as a one-stop shop for home buyers and sellers: alongside the brokerage, we can put you in front of mortgage planning, legal representation and contractors. We are licensed in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania — so if you are planning a move to or from any of these states, you do not need to find another agent.
